Our sponsored Torquay United player Danni Wyatt enjoyed a successful debut as assistant manager yesterday (Sunday 29 January) with a 4-0 win at Royal Wootton Basset.
Connie Pengelly opened the scoring, followed by a hattrick from Esme Kilburn-Thompson.

The result puts Torquay second in the South West Women’s Regional Premier Division – a point behind Forest Green Rovers, but with three games in hand.
Danni, who was also in the starting line-up and was substituted in the second half, said: “I’m really pleased for Esme getting her hatrick today – fully deserved.
“The result was exactly what we wanted – we dominated the possession and took hold of the game from the start.”
Weltch Media first sponsored Danni in the 2017/18 campaign, when she helped Torquay to third place in the South West Regional Premier Division and to the final of the Devon Cup and won the goal of the season award. Last season she helped Torquay to a sensational victory in the Devon FA Cup Final and was named club player of the season.
