The creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky Addams Family are touring the UK again in the musical comedy of the same name.
Our companion hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was at the New Theatre to review its opening night in Cardiff this week (Tuesday 16 November), describing it as “spectacular fun from start to finish”.
The reviewer, our senior consultant Andy Weltch said Cameron Blakely and Strictly Come Dancing‘s Joanne Clifton were “perfect as Gomez and Morticia, heading an excellent cast and talented ensemble in a show which delighted [the] audience”.
He said the show was “about familiar, lovable characters, catchy songs, dances, jokes, and spectacular staging. And on those terms it’s hard to fault”.
The Addams Family is at the New Theatre, Cardiff until Saturday (20 November), when it moves to Sheffield before its Christmas break. The tour resumes in January, with dates around the country until June.
