Torquay United Ladies FC has announced a new match-sponsorship package for businesses or individuals.
The team which plays in the Premier Division of the South West Women’s Football League is offering the package for its remaining home games to be played over the coming weeks.
The package includes:
- Announcement of sponsorship in a news article on TULFC website and to its thousands of followers on social media;
- News shared with local media;
- Company logo and link on TULFC website;
- Company mentioned in match report on website;
- Match day photo with captain and/or player/s of your choice.
The club also hopes to offer a mention in the Torquay United men’s game programme and potentially in local media, although these can’t be guaranteed.
The cost is £225, and packages are available for the following games:
26 Jan v Portishead;
3 Feb v Callington Town;
17 Feb v Ilminster Town;
17 Mar v Exeter City.
“This season has been a struggle financially,” said club chair Janette Farrell. “The massive turnover of players and management last summer means we have more dual-registered players than usual – which has a major impact on the player sponsorship we can attract.
“The team and management would like to sincerely thank our current sponsors, many of whom own their own businesses or are parents of the much younger squad, in particular our thanks go to lifelong supporters of both the Torquay men and ladies teams, Tony Allen and Colin Parker.”
