We have been back to Loughborough University (virtually) this week, running the second in a series of online copywriting training sessions for marketing staff.
The university’s web and digital team invited us in to share our experience and expertise in a series of half-day courses, which started last week.
The invitation followed a highly praised course which we ran last year for City, University of London. It builds on our experience of major copywriting projects for universities, including Swansea, Southampton, Cardiff, and City.
Yesterday’s (April 6) session for marketing officers and designers covered: getting started; approaching the writing process; writing for different audiences; writing persuasively; and avoiding common mistakes.
Loughborough has been named the best university in the world for sports-related subjects for the sixth year running by the global QS higher education league table, based on its reputation in academia and industry, as well as its research impact.
It was named University of the Year at the WhatUni? Student Choice Awards in 2020, 2018, and 2015. It has also been named University of the Year in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide twice.
