Cast, crew, and supporters got together in Cardiff today (Tuesday) for the premiere of our new animated short film A Fish Out of Water.

Described as 'a Victorian tale of the fantastical and bizarre' and set in an alternative version of the 1890s, the film follows the events which unfold when Henry Godliman - a 'chronicler of the extraordinary' - arranges to hear the tales of three sailors, just returned from a long sea voyage.

The lunchtime screening at Chapter Arts Centre was very well received, with comments including: "Absolutely brilliant!", "A great little movie," and "It makes me want to see more of his adventures!"

We'll soon be entering the film in festivals and will share news of any future screenings. Meanwhile, you can see the trailer here.

The script, by Andrew Weltch and Robert Lancey, is based on Andy's original story and was recently selected for a third international film festival.

With designs by Anthony Richards and music and sound by Charlie Diggle, it also features the voices of Francesca Louise White, Richard Oliver, and Samantha Hudson.

You can find more about it on the film's IMDb page.
