The Weltch Media-backed RD Simsport simracing team is now leading the Backfire Simsport TCR Challenge series.
And the team’s drivers are doing well individually, with our long-time friend, former Legends Car racer, James Holman second in the overall standings, ahead of teammates Greg Daffron 3rd, and Daniel Mills is 4th. Chris Young leads the Pro-Am category, and Rob Sutherland is leading the Amateurs.
“Daniel was strong at the Nurburgring taking a win there,” said James. “I won at Imola, Greg had two strong podiums there too.
“Myself and Daniel got a podium each at Long Beach. I’ve been fairly consistent, Nurburgring was two 4th places.”
It will be tough to catch overall leader, Miguel Freitas, who leads by 69 points, but there are still over 500 points on offer over the final two weeks of the series.
The next races take place tomorrow (Wednesday) with a sprint and feature race at Oulton Park, UK.
