Our short film Annalium 8: Sssss scooped an award at the Wild Indie SciFi and Fantasy Film Festival in London at the weekend.
Our director Andrew Griffin and one of our stars Francesca Louise White were at Genesis Cinema in Bethnal Green to see the selected films and to receive the award for Best First Time Film-maker and an honourable mention for Best Short Film Under 10 Minutes.
This adds to our recent successes at the inaugural Indie Line Film Festival in Istanbul, Turkey, where the film has been named Best Short Film (No Dialogue) and at the Celynen Film Festival at Newbridge, South Wales, where it has received the award for Best Short Film.
Both festivals take place next weekend (25-26 May) and will screen our film.
Annalium 8: Sssss from Weltch Media and Annalium Films was jointly produced by our own Andy Weltch and the scriptwriter Rob Lancey.

Directed by Andrew ‘Griff’ Griffin, the film stars Francesca Louise White and Minaii Baelfire. Francesca is an award-winning actress, who had the main role in our popular lockdown comedy promo video With a T, and Minaii holds the distinction of being the world’s first Black Young Elsa in a stage production of Frozen.
