Our sponsored player Danni Wyatt helped Torquay United Women to a 12-0 home win over Bideford yesterday (Sunday 21 November) – just hours after being on the winning side for her work team in a charity match.
Danni scored two goals in the decisive win over Bideford in the South West Women’s League Premier Division.
Ellie Bishop scored a hat-trick, Leah Brooks and our former sponsored player Jana Kate Richards scored two each, with the remaining goals from Ocean Latto, Kate Hine, and Emma Hunt.
Earlier in the day, Danni was the only woman to play in a charity game, which saw her work team, Jewson, beat the Builders 6-5 at Honiton.
“It was a great day – and a great performance from the girls,” Danni told us afterwards. “But I’m very tired after playing two games!”
