We were honoured to contribute to the programme for last night’s (10 November) RCN Wales Nurse of the Year Awards.
The virtual event, hosted by TV’s Jason Mohammad, recognised the work of nurses, midwives, nursing students, and health care support workers who have shown “a passion for their profession and exemplify distinction in care, leadership, service and innovation. Individuals can be nominated for an award by peers, teams, managers, patients and the public”.
Our writer Mark Hawkins, who wrote the nominee profiles, said it was a “total privilege” to be involved, describing it as “a fascinating and humbling piece of work”.
