Our latest media training day has been praised as “really informative, with good hints and learning tips”.
Grant Santos was reflecting on a specially tailored day for senior colleagues from Educ8 Training Group, run by our broadcast consultant Mariclare Carey-Jones at her Barry offices, alongside Andy Weltch.
Grant, the group’s CEO, said: “The training was delivered in an informal, personal way that put everyone at ease. The team found it really informative, with good hints and learning tips to support radio and broadcast interviews.
“The day also incorporated a session on presentation skills, with activities and useful exercises throughout the day which gave us an opportunity to put into practice what we’d learnt and refine our skills.
“Feedback was delivered in a positive, constructive way and working in a small group gave everyone the opportunity to fully engage and participate, which was key.”
Educ8 Training Group incorporates both Haddon Training and Aspire 2Be, and is described as a champion of work-based and lifelong learning. The company provides learners with high-quality education opportunities and helps businesses to grow by upskilling their people. We tailored the day specifically for the Educ8 Group team, with press, radio, and TV interviews, as well as a session on public speaking.
We can adapt the format to suit any client, and can run sessions online or in-person. We can include a developing crisis or other scenario.
