The multi award-winning comedy stage production of The 39 Steps is currently touring the UK and Ireland.
This week (23-27 April) it’s at Cardiff’s New Theatre, and our companion hyperlocal news site Rhiwbina Info was there to review it on opening night, describing it as an “joyfully silly, yet still somehow respectful to its source material – the 1935 Alfred Hitchock film.”
The reviewer, our Andy Weltch added that, after nearly 20 years, “it still delights, with its brilliantly choreographed physical humour and expert comic timing from a talented cast”.
The 39 Steps plays the New Theatre until Saturday, before the tour moves on to Sheffield.
