A new political comedy Party Games by Michael McManus is currently touring UK theatres.
This week (21-24 May) it’s in Cardiff, and our companion hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was at the New Theatre for opening night last night (Tuesday) to review it.
Reviewer Andy Weltch said the jokes “come thick and fast” in the story of a new government facing a hung parliament, street protests, a failing economy, and striking cheese makers.
Party Games plays the New Theatre until Saturday (24 May), before the tour moves on to Cambridge.
