The follow-up to a best-selling crime thriller has been launched in London.
In the Dark is the second in a series of books by Cara Hunter, covering the cases of Oxford’s Detective Inspector Adam Fawley.
The first, Close to Home, has been a huge commercial and critical success, selling more than 300,000 copies since it was published by Penguin last December [2017].
In the Dark begins with a woman and her young child, found near death, locked in an Oxford cellar. Nobody knows who they are or how they got there, and the elderly owner of the house denies all knowledge.
Our senior consultant, Andrew Weltch, was at the launch in a suitably subterranean venue in Covent Garden, and has written about it in our companion arts and entertainment blog, Piece of Pink Pie. You can read the post here.
