A new play featuring Ian Rankin’s Detective Inspector Rebus is currently touring the UK.
Our companion hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was at the opening night (Monday 7 October) of Rebus: A Game Called Malice for its week at the New Theatre, Cardiff.
The play stars Gray O’Brien as DI Rebus, with Abigail Thaw.
Reviewer Andy Weltch described it as a “a fast-paced crime thriller, which entertains and intrigues”, adding “this is a thoroughly enjoyable play – a delight for any fan of murder mysteries”.
Rebus: A Game Called Malice is at the New Theatre until Saturday (12 October), when the tour moves to York.
