A new adaptation of the 1960s stage thriller Catch Me If You Can is touring the UK, with a star cast including Patrick Duffy, Linda Purl, and Gray O’Brien.
Our companion hyperlocal site, Rhiwbina Info, was at the New Theatre to review its opening performance in Cardiff last night (Monday 28 February), and described it as “an absolute treat”.
The reviewer, our senior consultant Andy Weltch, added: “this is a wonderfully entertaining piece of theatre – clever, funny, and brilliantly performed”.
Catch Me If You Can (not to be confused with the Steven Spielberg film and stage musical of the same name) is at the New Theatre until Saturday (5 March), when it continues its UK tour to Blackpool, Darlington, Malvern, Mold, Milton Keynes, Richmond, Birmingham, Eastbourne, Bath, Cambridge, and Glasgow.
