We were back in the training room this week (4 February), running a day-long media training session for our friends at RCN Wales. And again the delegates loved it!
Mariclare Carey-Jones and Andy Weltch hosted the event, which gave nurses and officers an insight into the working of the media and experience of facing interviews on a newsworthy topic relevant to them.
One delegate described it as “Fantastic – and it was an excellent opportunity to practise. I really enjoyed the group discussion and feedback, and the joint filming”.
Another said: “Very useful – I really enjoyed it”.
