Ahead of its West End run, Patrick Barlow’s hilarious comedy The Messiah is touring the UK.
Our companion hyperlocal site, Rhiwbina Info, reviewed its opening night in Cardiff last night (October 29), and described is as “a hilarious telling of the nativity story”.
It stars Hugh Dennis, Lesley Garrett, and John Marquez as an under-resourced and over-ambitious troupe, presenting their unique interpretation of the greatest story ever told.

The Messiah runs at Cardiff’s New Theatre until Saturday (November 3), and then visits Sheffield, Cheltenham, Richmond, and London.
