Our sponsored player Danni Wyatt has been appointed captain of Torquay United Ladies FC for the 2018-19 season.
She discussed her new role, and the challenge and excitement of leading a new-look team under new management in an interview on the Torquay Talk blog.
This is Danni’s fourth season with the Devon club, having helped the ‘Gullettes’ to a third place finish in the South West Women’s Premier League in 2017-18, and scoring the goal of the season.
Danni leads the team out in the first South West Women’s Premier League game at home to Bishops Lydeard on Sunday (September 9th).
