We’ve been delighted to see people who’ve attended our media training courses putting what they learned into practice recently – as confident, comfortable interviewees on TV.

Team Wales cyclists Dylan Kerfoot-Robson, the Welsh road and mountain bike champion, and track star Ellie Coster, both faced media interviews when they attended the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Welsh Cycling Tweeted pictures of both being interviewed by BBC Wales ahead of their trip to the Gold Coast.

And our racing driver client Ben Power was interviewed on Motorsport TV recently, after scoring a double victory in the UK Legends Car Championship races at Brands Hatch.

Ellie, Dylan, and Ben are among the sportspeople and others who have benefited from our media training days, which provide excellent preparation for anyone who might face the camera or microphone.

Our sessions explain what the media want from interviews, how to prepare and how to carry out the interview itself, ensuring you’re confident, comfortable and ready to enjoy it. They’re also especially useful for those aiming to appear in their own online content, and we cover vital social media tips too.

And they’re not just for those involved in sports. We’ve also trained many people in business, in charities and in the public sector.

Run in conjunction with Mariclare Carey-Jones of Memorable Creative Journalism, the days are useful, affordable and fun. If you want to find out more, email us info@weltchmedia.com
