Huge congratulations to Weltch Media-backed RD Simsport, who took all three podium places in the latest round of the Backfire Simsport TCR Challenge at Barcelona (Wednesday 22 January).
Our long-time friend, former Legends Car racer, James Holman set the fastest lap on his way to winning the 80-minute endurance race ahead of Daniel Mills and Greg Daffron.
“It was a fantastic night for the team,” said James. “1-2-3, 1-3 for the team points, and we’re now in the lead of the teams championship.
“Myself and Greg up to 2nd and 3rd in the standings. Chris and Martin 1-2 in Pro-Am, Rob winning Am. It couldn’t have been better night really! Greg and I really controlled the race, put the pace in when we wanted to extend the gap.
“Daniel was super fast at the end, his fuel and tyre saving strategy nearly did for both us, which was super impressive.”
