A new post on our companion arts and entertainment blog Piece of Pink Pie looks back at three outstanding plays which premiered at Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre this year.
The Sherman’s website states: “We make and curate uplifting, meaningful and relevant theatre of the highest quality. We premiere new plays which tell local stories with global resonance”.
And the post by our Andy Weltch, who originally reviewed the plays for our hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info, says that was all true of the three plays he highlights: The Wife of Cyncoed by Matt Hartley and starring Vivien Parry, The Women of Llanrumney by Azuka Oforka and starring Nia Roberts and Suzanne Packer, and Odyssey ’84 by Tim Price and starring Rhodri Meilir and Sara Gregory.
