Congratulations to our sponsored player Kelsey Gentles and her York City Knights teammates, who scored three wins – without conceding a point – in yesterday’s (Sunday 1 May) inaugural women’s rugby league nines festival in Warrington.
York beat Bradford Bulls 26-0, Leigh Miners 9-0, and Cardiff Demons 26-0 to go through to finals day at Salford in July.
Kelsey scored tries against Bradford (check out this superb breakaway to score) and Cardiff.
The five group winners qualify for finals day at Salford on 24 July. As well as Knights, the line-up will feature A sixth wildcard team will be seeded in.
