Our sponsored player Kelsey Gentles scored a hat-trick of tries to help York City Knights Ladies to a 76-4 win at Bradford Bulls’ Odsal Stadium in the rugby league Challenge Cup yesterday (Sunday 27 March).
She was also named player of the match.
Kelsey came on in the second half and scored within a minute – racing down the touchline to score in the corner, making it 44-0. She touched down for her second in the 67th minute, and her third in the 75th.
The result completes a 100% record in the Cup’s group stage for the Knights, after a 78-0 win over Dewsbury Moor and a 46-0 win over Wigan Warriors last week.
