Two of TV’s most familiar faces are appearing on stage in Cardiff this week, as the dramatisation of Peter James’ thriller Looking Good Dead continues its UK tour.
Adam Woodyatt (EastEnders) and Gaynor Faye (Coronation Street, Emmerdale, The Syndicate) lead the cast in a crime story with plenty of shocks and twists along the way.
Our companion hyperlocal site Rhiwbina Info was on hand to review the opening night (September 28) at the New Theatre, suggesting fans of crime thrillers and of the stars will have a great time.
The play focuses on an apparently affluent couple, who are actually crippled by debt, and have secrets to hide.
They find themselves plunged into a murky and deadly criminal underworld after he opens a memory stick he found on the train and clicks a link to a private website.
Looking Good Dead plays at the New Theatre, Cardiff until Saturday, before moving to Edinburgh, Brighton, Bath and Norwich. The tour resumes in 2022, but without Gaynor Faye in the cast.
