For the second year in a row, tennis clubs throughout Wales are offering free sessions for women and girls during Wimbledon fortnight.
A total of 28 clubs are offering the sessions, as part of Sport Wales’ What Moves You campaign to encourage women and girls to become more active.
The clubs are also offering membership discounts and coaching sessions after the event, to allow participants to further develop their skills.

“We’re delighted to have doubled the number of clubs participating this year,” said Ellie Lewis, National Workforce Manager for Tennis Wales. “In addition to free tennis sessions there are other activities to get involved in, including cardio, tennis Xpress and touchtennis. This should allow women and girls to try out the different variations on offer and see which ones hook them in”.
