Weltch Media has further extended its partnership with Torquay United Ladies FC to become sponsor of hard-working and talented striker Danielle Wyatt.
Danielle has been with the club for four years, and was TULFC’s top scorer in the 2015/16 South West Women’s Premier League campaign.
“I am thrilled to have teamed up with Weltch Media for this very exciting season,” she said. “As a club we rely on the kindness and support from all over to push us to the next level.
TULFC manager Vicki Fannon added: “I’m really pleased Weltch Media is extending its support to Danni – we’re delighted to have an award-winning communications agency in our family of supporters.”
Sport is one of Weltch Media’s specialist areas, and we have worked with clients in golf and motor sport in the South West, as well as cricket, tennis, swimming and athletics in other areas.
“It’s really a thrill for us be part of the team at Torquay,” said Weltch Media senior consultant (and lifelong Torquay United supporter!), Andrew Weltch.
“The dedication, enthusiasm and talent of these young women is a real credit to the Torquay United name, and I’m delighted we can help Danni for the rest of the season. She’s a very talented player and a great ambassador for the club.”
Danielle was first approached by the TULFC management while playing in Devon’s Development League. “It was massive for me to play for my hometown and the team I’d grown up watching at Plainmoor on the weekends,” she said.
She is also a keen boxer and is applying for her licence this year. She works at Darby & Darby Solicitors in Torquay, and will soon begin studying for a Law and Practice Diploma.
TULFC still has some sponsorship opportunities available – details are available from the club.
