We are stepping up our training services with a new advanced media course.
The one-day immersive course is aimed mainly at those who have completed our regular media training, but is open to anyone.
After a brief refresher on the dos and don’ts of interviews, delegates will be given a scenario to consider.
Throughout the day, the scenario will develop, and they will face a series of increasingly challenging media interviews to explain their organisation’s position.
They will include: interviews for print, radio, and TV, including face-to-face and ‘down the line’ interviews.
Working with our colleagues at Memorable Creative Journalism, our aim is to make the day informative, challenging, and enjoyable, and it will be run only in small groups, to ensure delegates get the most from the experience.
“Our regular media trainign days continue to be very popular,” said Weltch Media senior consultant Andrew Weltch. “But this is something new for our training portfolio, that takes people to the next level. People will find it tough, but also a lot of fun.”
The day with our experienced professional journalists will include buffet lunch, and tea/coffee through the day. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
In the meantime, here’s a brief video about the regular media training days, which we’re also running.
