Some 120 children took part in the third annual Cardiff Schools Canoeing Regatta.
The regatta, held at Cardiff International White Water Centre, involved separate competitions for primary and secondary schools, with races using four different craft, and – for the first time – was part of the annual Cardiff Games.

South Wales tennis pro Evan Hoyt has won both the singles and doubles titles at the ITF (International Tennis Federation) Futures tournaments in Tunisia.
In the singles, Hoyt, aged 20, from Llanelli, beat Kevin Grieksport of the Netherlands, 6-3, 1-6, 6-2 to win the Sportevasion ITF Futures Summer Tour title.
